The Pretoria team (University of Pretoria, South Africa) is responsible for the Fuselage Design. The fuselage design will be a low drag body acting as a protective shell to the sensor payload. The airframe noise is reduced by optimally integrating the airframe with the propulsion system and secondly by ensuring there are minimal protrusions on the airframe. Aerodynamically shaping the fuselage will contribute to noise reduction as well as flight efficiency. The inner structure of the fuselage will allow for easy modular mounting of sensors offering sensor visibility where needed.
